How do I modify a journal entry in Fixed Assets?

Question:

How do I modify a journal entry in Fixed Assets?

Resolution:

If the JE was created by using the "Select Depreciation Details to Post. Print", you can modify JEs created by this process by selecting the "Change Depreciation Details to Post" from the Fixed Assets Depreciation Posting Menu (please see manual explanation below.) For more information on the posting menu, please reference the Fixed Assets manual which can be viewed the FOI on line help desk.

CHANGE DEPRECIATION DETAILS TO POST
Once the preliminary depreciation entries have been created, they can be modified prior to posting to the General Ledger. This option is identical to G/L Journal Entry found on the G/L Daily Processing menu. Any of the created entries can be changed or deleted and additional entries can be made if necessary. Refer to the General Ledger manual for further details. Remember that any changes made to these records WILL NOT AFFECT the fixed assets themselves
