New User cannot Access Purchasing Menu Options.

Question:

New user can’t get into Purchasing Menu Options. I set up his profile correctly, what else could be wrong?

Resolution:

The new user must be assigned an agent number and set up under User Authority, Agent and Agent Authority under the PO File Maintenance section. In User Authority you will assign the user id, agent number, authorities and the printer to be used. In the Agent File you will assign an Agent number, Name, email address and designate if this user is a "super user" or needs supervisor approval. And lastly, under Agent Authority you will set up the Corporation, Agent number, Departments and the dollar approval limit for the user.
