Question:
I have 2 new pc's installed and my tickets are not printing on the correct printer- Why?
Resolution:
In the Produce system there is a menu option that determines where cash, credit and delivery tickets print. All Crts, Pc, Thin clients et al need a static name in the system so that the application can send the tickets to the appropriate printer with the appropriate ticket stock.
Go to the Produce File Maintenance Menu and take Option 26 Printer ids for POS.
Key in the name of the workstation, then a "C" for Cash or a "G" for change or a "D" for delivery, then the printer name that has the cash, charge or delivery stock. Press enter and F20 to accept.
